The Cara Band is based in East Islip but travels everywhere in the tri-state area. They are always playing at Irish Festivals-East Durham, Queens, Staten Island, and NYC.
On St. Patrick's day they played on NBC and then at the Waldorf Astoria.

Basic fee for Sat. Night is $3,000 for six piece for 4 hrs. I am having 4piece w/ add. hour for the same amount.
They are wonderful and have a huge selection of Irish reels, jigs, ballads as well as American music.

Your wedding is 3/22/03? Call soon for any Irish bands or DJs. It's right near St. Patrick's day. Another good place to look is newspapers-Irish Echo or Irish Voice

I had the same worries about the date being so near to St Patricks day, I like it being then so family will be out for Parade, but I am worried about bands, they might have dances and parties and parades and gigs all still going on for St. Pats.
Thanks and I will let you know. My father in law to be is very involved in the Irish community so this is part of his job.
