Marnles- Everything went well. I brought my dad and my soon to be mother in-law to check the place out. They really liked it so this made me happy. i was so nervous deciding whether to book or not but I really do love it and its the style I am looking for so I DID IT, we booked Stewart Manor. Thanks for all your help. Also the flowers will be over the fireplace, for my wedding in March 22, 2003 it will be silk flowers like in picture and in Dec for you it will be the green garlandy thingy in the picture. Thanks for all your help and keep me posted i probably will be bothering you with more questions soon. Kim (ps valet parking charge $250)

Oh Kim - CONGRATS!!!! I'm soo happy for you! Did you deal with Don? I'm glad you found out about the flowers on the mantle - and thank you!! What green garlandy thingy do you mean? The one in the album that they showed you from Christmastime? And did he say if the floating flowers are included on the cocktail hour tables? Isnt it such a relief! Don't you feel great?? And you are NEVER bothering me with questions - it's my pleasure to talk to you about things!! Keep me posted when you start looking at other vendors!! Are you planning on keeping the centerpieces as is or upgrading. I'm keeping them as is, and spending the extra money on invitations. What else did he say was included? Marni- Thanks I am so Happy to finally have a official date. Well I spoke with Don last Saturday and we pretty much narrowed down all that was included and he told me he could save my date until yesterday. Don wasnt there yesterday night Eddie was there. All the flowers are included (including floaters on tables) I am also going to keep the centerpieces they use and use the money towards favors (i really want but didnt know if I should get them). So it evens itself out. Included in my package: Food, Drink, Flowers, cake, linens, matre`d, toast only thing not included was valet parking that i can think of I hope I didnt miss anything Have you been in touch with them since you booked? talk to you soon Kimberly

berlykim22 - How did it go?

I haven't been in touch, except for yesterday when I called regarding the valet parking. I was going to call again to see if they mantle flowers were included, but now that I know they are, I feel better about it. I probably won't be in touch for a little while, but I do need to ask the earliest I can get in there on my wedding day to take pictures. My FH and I decided to see each other before the ceremony due to time constraints (we're marrying on a Friday night at 6, then cocktail hour at 7:30). We really don't want to miss our entire cocktail hour. So I will call to find that out - we would like to go around 3:30, to take pictures in front of the fireplace (my favorite part). Other than that, there's really no reason to call until it gets closer and we need to choose the menu items, cake type, etc. If you need any vendor help, don't hesitate to ask. We have our dj and photographer so far, and I will be doing flowers in February. Keep in touch! And once again, CONGRATS!! :)
