My FH and I are thinking about going to Bermuda for our honeymoon. Has anyone been there? Do you recommend it? Any feedback would help.

bermuda is gorgeous and sooo relaxing!!!! i would recommend going there on a cruise!!!!! since you dont have to be on the ship when it moves... u can always meet up at a diff point
just rem that the atlantic can be a lil rough at times

My parents LOOOOOVED Bermuda!!!!!!!!!!!! We were thinking of BERMUDA too.. however......... I can't cruise ( I get violently ill) and I hear the all inclusive isn't exactly WONDERFUL-----but if you can CRUISE-----I hear it's fab!

Bermuda was great. the beaches were fabulous. just a note though, it was expensive. we cabbed it everywhere and that wasnt cheap. food was great but also on the pricey side. I totally recommend it.

I've been to Bermuda several times and love it! I think you'd have a gret time. I usually stay at the Princess. It's a gorgous hotel, but the Sonesta is also very nice. You probably know this, but just a heads up that you can't rent a car on the island, so you must rent mopeds. They are very fun, but take some getting used to. Also, there isn't a TON of stuff to do at night, it's more of a 'day' vacation. The beaches are beautiful and the people are very friendly too. Good luck..whereever you go

we went there on a cruise that sailed out of NY about 5 years ago......we LOVED it!!! the food on the ship was great, and I loved both Hamilton & St. George. Hamilton is the capital, and to me was more about shopping (although there are some historical spots, we just didn't visit them), St. George just gave off more of the 'island feel', I loved it!!

Bermuda is my FAVORITE place on earth! You deffinately ave to cruise it though. I used Royal Caribean 11 years ago (I cant believe it's been that long) and they were great then. Please FM me if you have any questions

My dad's cousin lives in Bermuda...it's gorgeous. I've been there twice - stayed with her once and then the other time we stayed at the Princess! I am DYING to cruise there out of NY...and would have done it for our HM if we weren't getting married in March - you have to watch what time of year you go there...but July is awesome!

Yea, we went on a cruise out of New York and it was supposed to stop in Bermuda. Unfortunately the Atlantic was too rough and we had to skip Bermuda...I was so sad. I hope one day we can go back!!!

Yea, we went on a cruise out of New York and it was supposed to stop in Bermuda. Unfortunately the Atlantic was too rough and we had to skip Bermuda...I was so sad. I hope one day we can go back!!!
oh nooo that stinks!!!! def try to get there one day! it was my first cruise and was just me and FH back in 04.. soo nice! we rented a moped and used that ro get around everywhere (although they are crazy drivers and the streets are tiny, and u drive on the left!!!)

Thank you for the positive feedback! My FH and I were thinking about just flying there and instead of a cruise.....but it seems like the cruise is the way to go.

flying was so easy. we took jetblue. its a short flight.

we absolutely adored bermuda. it's close to ny, the beaches are pristine, there's very little crime, the public transportation system is pretty good (so you can move around the island fairly easily), the shopping is great and the restaurants are to die for! try hotels on the south side of the island. that's where the nicest beaches are, including horseshoe bay. the elbow beach hotel is one of them--pricey but worth every penny in luxury.
