on LI preferably not far out east, can I take my BM's for their dresses? Please state whether they are affordable. I am looking into getting this specific BM dress by Jordan in a Merlot color Style # 714. Thanks so much!
I am asking for other places besides burton's just in case they are not open on the dates in the evening that my girls gave me..

Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, Adriennes in Islip. FYI, Bridal reflections had my bm dresses for 195 and I got them down to 175. You CAN negotiate Get the prices and then you can work with them. Also check the alterations caps at each place. I also heard Paradise Bridal in Patchogue.

I would like to get the prices before we go, but what I have found recently is when I ask them over the phone they tell me a range. I guess they want to get you in to the store first.. Thanks though I appreciate it. I am trying to get my 3 OOT BM's here from NJ. So I think what they are going to do is have them altered at a place near them and take the dresses home whtn they come in. Do most places let you do this??

Got my girls dresses at Macy*s in Manhasset. They carry Jordan and will give you the correct price over the phone.

Oh if they are going to get them altered somewhere else, then go to the commack wedding center, the dresses are the least expensive but the alterations are terrible.

I got my BM dresses at The Bridal Garden in Bethpage...I was going to get the dress at Bridal Reflections, because I got my gown there, but I found the gown at the Bridal Garden for much cheaper and they have been so wonderful!

I HIGHLY recommend Helen's Boutique in Commack. I bought my BM dresses here from Alfred Angelo and they also carry Jordan dresses too. They were quite affordable - under $140/dress b/c my girls decided they wanted an extended length for a train, so it costs $20 extra.

My girls got that exact dress from Helen's and it was $139 before alterations. One of my girls had to pay an extra $20 for plus size. HTH!!

Thanks Cindy I will keep note of that! The wedding center of commack just told me the dress was 123 over the phone.. not bad.. but as someone said I would not let them get their dresses altered there, they will be bringing them home with them after they come in from being ordered and having the alterations done in NJ where they live.

I ordered mine from renates in lindenhurst!! I had a dress picked out already and they gave me the price on the phone (which was a better price than where I ordered my gown). They were very easy to work with and the shop is new/nice!!

I agree with the girls who recommended Helen's Wedding World in Commack. 631-543-6300 They are located on Austin Blvd off Motor Parkway. Very often they are confused with Commack Wedding Center on Wicks Road in Commack. Two different places, two different levels of service.

I've been a bridesmaid so many times..
Bridal Reflections-good service highest price
Bridal Garden-my girls got their dresses there and so did my mom and they were great and very reasonable
Wedding Center of Commack-got one dress there and had no problems. Got my alterations somewhere else though. Good prices.
David's good price ok service limited selection.

I would really consider Burton's for price reasons - My Bm's paid 118 for that dress and they wanted about 160 at Bridal Reflections. I would try to make the times work- I know they are open one later night during the week.

2 of my BM's got it from Lillettes..my friend in FL got the same dress down there and it was $20 more.
