Best Band-Best Photographer-Best Videographer
If you truly want your wedding to be the happiest day of your life--you will need to find the best band, a great photographer, and of course a truly professional videographer. I have experienced this at my own wedding not to many weeks ago. I used Code Bleu (631) 277-7777 which made all the difference in the world. My guests actually thought they were lip-sinking because they sounded exactly like your favorite CD. My photographer was not only professional but he took pictures that looked like they were right out of a magazine ad of Bride's. His name was Doug from Patken (631) 957-9131. My video was taken by Holden from Multi-Media Production Studio (516) 481-2454. He was not only professional but caring about what I would want and paid a lot attention to the details. He happened to have won many awards for his work and all of these vendors were worth every penny and more. I am very detail oriented (as most bride's are) and I wanted it to be done a certain way and they made it all become reality. (Don't worry about calling them a million times a day either - every time I did they always acted as if it were the first time I called--they remained interested in my concerns!!!) So girls--good luck to you in your plans-enjoy this exciting experience by choosing the vendors that will work to the T for you!!

Thanks for the info. I am getting married in November and Code Bleu is the band we hired. I am so excited to hear they are as great as the time we heard them play as a demo. One less thing to worry about!

I got married at the Fox Hollow (one of the Scotto Bros. sights--they also have Westbury Manor, Chateau Briand, and Waters Edge) Any one of these locations will be beautiful. They have a way about them that makes you feel you are truly the only bride. I would recommend any of their locations. I just happened to love the Fox Hollow and would gladly throw another party there. When is your wedding?

RE: mickeyala question-Fox Hollow
We've got an appointment with Doug this week. His Premium is quite extreme. An additional 1500 on top of the existing package cost! Did he use a lighting assistant? I was told that Patken does not use lighting assistants unless the party is huge. Not sure if I'm comfortable with no lighting assistant. The cost of other studios is similar but with 1 to 2 assistants. Any input is appreciated.

I am getting married at the Port Jeff Country Club. I live in that area. I haven't picked out my band yet. Ever been there?

Re: mickeyala
No. That's one of the places I have not been to yet but I've heard that it's beautiful. (I am a make-up artist and do bridal parties so I am very familiar with all of the sites.) As far as the band if you want a great band check out Code Blew 631-277-7777 and speak to Sean. I am very picky when it comes to music because it can make or break your wedding. Both my video and photographer (two separate companies) both used Code Bleu so you know the band has to be good. My guests thought that they were lip-sinking. They sounded like the origianl song from the radio. My video guy was Holden from Multi-Media Production Studio and his # is516-481-2454.

RE: arsou812
I can only tell you that it did not matter with the pictures he takes. At my wedding he had an assistant with him. I got my proofs back one week after the wedding and they were right out of a magazine. He may be a fast talker and intimidate you at first but I can only tell you to use him. I would definitely use him again. I highly recommend him. Don't worry about lighting asst's. That's not your job--he knows what he's doing. My name is Amanda Lavender (not Lexi--that's my dog.) Let me know how everything goes. He IS WORTH EVERY PENNY--you will have your pictures for a lifetime.

RE: LEXI
we went to Multi Media video and met with Holden. So you really liked your video He was very nice and puts forth much effort into his work and you can see that he works from the heart and really loves what he does. I see that his concentration is completly on video and editing and it's nice that it's him that your getting and not worrying about getting slammed a premium for him. It seems that the photo studios just kind of through the video in along with their packages and charge you for it. Probly gonna book with him

RE: LEXI
Booked with Holden at Multi Media. I'm looking forward to working with him next year. As I posted previously, I'm really glad that I choose someone who's sole concentration is on my wedding Video. He also gave us a tour of his editing studio and explained how it's all done. Holden has 3 ways you can go and is very creative with all of them. You can't go wrong. Ask him about the 'Love Walk' story line that he helps you put together.

Best Band-Best Photographer-Best Videographer
I got married last month and hired East Coast . They were phenomenal ! They charged us $4000 for the reception and $400 for a three piece cocktail hour .They kept my friends dancing all night as well as my relatives . Even my grandmother had a blast . They really know how to get everyone involved . There male singer (Freddy) is outrageous . He got everybody going by coming out on the dance floor while he was singing and also sang to my grandmother at her table . The night went so fast because of them . Everybody keeps calling to tell me that it was the best band they''ve ever seen at a wedding . I would highly recommend East Coast to anyone looking for a professional and a reasonable priced band . Ron (613)661-7406 is the guy to talk to .Welcome New Vendors
