I want to add a crock pot to my registry but there are so many to choose from on the BBB site.
Can anyone recommend one?

just some tips...
make sure it has a high AND low option, and if you can specify the hours all the better. (ex. 6 hours on low, or 3 on high, some just have 2 options for each tempurature)
i like that mine turns to 'warm' once it's done
i've seen new ones with countdown timers which seems helpful. i hate turning it on for 8 hours, then i have no clue how much is left unless i write down the time i turned it on.

honestly i hate my crock pot that I had put on my registry if you can DO NOT go for a digital control but a turn knob. This way you really control what your food is cooking length wise and heat.

I have two, one we bought and one a gift. I learned that you need to have the crock pot filled at very minimum 1/2 way, more is better. Since I only cook for 2 people (plus left over for lunch) the 6 qt we were given was way too big. we settled on the smaller one that is perfect size. I believe it is 3 or 4 qt Rival we bought at Target.
