Best Epic Site & Times on Long Island.

Figured I would try to get my mind off of stuff that is annoying me & got onto fun things.

I want to schedule my epics but wanted to see about opinions on good outdoor sites others have used & if the site charge anything. Figured it would be nice to start a list for all the girls still looking into one.

Sports or Unique:
- Shea Stadium (in queens)
- Belmont Park
- Brooklyn Bridge
- Adventureland *

Parks & Beaches:
- Crabmeadow beach in Northport
- Sunken Meadow Park/ Beach Mary
- Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale
- Long Beach
- Jones Beach
- Robert Moses - Field 5
- Pearsall park, Amityville
- Sands Point Preserve
- Avalon Park (in Stony Brook)
- Eisenhower Park (In Uniondale)
- Captree Beach, West Islip

Architectural
- Vanderbilt Mansion

Gardens
- Old Westbury Gardens.

Towns
Port Jefferson
Babylon Village
Huntington Village

Best times to take Pictures?
- In September - 1 person is doing it at 3pm
- In October - Sunset is about 6:30pm
- early morning or late evening is good (depending on sunset). Great Suggestions***

i think babylon village and huntington village are just so cute for pictures..

and also the park in amityville is pearsall park

Thats where my MOH is taking her wedding pics it is so cute!!(pearsill park)

I took mine by the brooklyn bridge, and dumbo!! love the area!!! its great for pics!

Brooklyn that is an awesome idea. Plus you are a duet bride woohooo. yeah. Your pictures are awesome. You look gorgeous.

I was thinking maybe we should add what time of day is best to take pictures. I am at 5pm first week of October. (I wanted to get sunset. But after your pictures I am rethinking it. What time were your pics?

aw thanks so much! yea i was very pleased with duet!!!!!!!!!!!! My pics were at 4..the photographer recommended that late afternoon was the best time for pics..but fyi..the sun was in our eyes alot! so sunset may be better!

theres alot of different things you can do for pics at gantry park...you can have the NY skyline, grass and nature shots, theres a park and other things

Here is a pic with the pepsi cola sign which is there also

grass pics lol

and a little bit of nature lol

theres also a playground there and if you look at Jenlen's pics they were on the slides there and took pics at the playground, we didnt do that...theres also graffiti walls near there, kitwisdom took pics there

Those shots are truly stunning! I never even heard of the place before you girls though I must say you all do look gorgeous so it doesn't even matter where the picture were.
