Delsey is the best! I did so much research and spoke to a few people. Macy's sells it and the Macy's at Roosevelt Field mall was very helpful.

lol...YES I DID! We plan to travel a lot so we wanted good luggage and even a person that worked for the airport said the Delsey will last a long time and is better then Samsonite!

This is going to sound so cheese, but we don't travel that much and we have cheap luggage from Target already. I figure when it breaks, I can get another 3 suitcase set for like $100 there. I just didn't want to waste that on my registry. Hee hee.

Delsy is the best. I have one and it is practically indestructable!

PS - I got mine at Marshall's for like a quarter of the price that they sell everywhere else!

That is not cheesy.....Fh has a nice suitcase & garment bag and we'll borrow another big suitcase from my mom or brother. The majority of our travel is only for a few days here and there and by car. For us it would be another item to store somewhere.

We have Briggs & Riley - it's definitely not cheap but it has a lifetime warranty and it wears extremely well. If you travel a lot it's worth the investment. The best prices I've found are from Luggage Online - they just had a 20% off sale.

I haven't registered for luggage yet, but thanks for all of the ideas.

we have delsey & it's good but it's HEAVY!!! We have the bright blue and after 1 time - it was totally stained up with grease.... I would try to find something lightweight especially since they are really enforcing the weight limit of 50lbs per bag and possibly charging for more than 1 checked bag...HTH

I hate to tell but they ALL get destroyed. I travel A LOT and have been through just about every type of luggage out there (inexpensive and expensive) and it all gets destroyed. The only one that is still in good condition is my hard luggage but it is heavy and weight restrictions on luggage have become REALLY strict.
