Best man speech

My fh is writing the bm speech for his brothers wedding tomorrow and he is having a hard time....any cute little sayings or suggestions????

my aunt's MOH gave a nice speech at their wedding 5 years ago.... i dont remember the whole thing, but she did something really funny. it was something like 'laura put out your hand. Now Michael put your hand on top of hers. Enjoy this moment. (Pause) This is the last time you will ever have the upper hand!'

it was cute the way she did it.

I helped my FH write this for his brother...... here it is - you can take what you like....

It is an honor to be here, as xxxx’s best man - celebrating the wedding of my brother to xxxx. Over the years, we have lived together and moved apart - but no matter how far apart we are from each other i know that xxxxx is only a phone call away - and always know that he will have the right thing to say when i need to hear it. So now I hope i can return the favor, since xxxx is one of the kindest, most sincere people that i know - which is why not only is he my brother by chance but one of my best friends by choice. I am also delighted to not only welcome xxxx into our family, but also add her to my list of friends.

When i have had an opportunity to see them sharing their life together, i can see that not only are they husband and wife, but they are also best friends. I wish that you will always be friends, because you will always love each other.

May you both continue to grow in love, not forgetting the importance of understanding, forgiveness and tolerance. But most importantly, may you never forget the love that brought you here together today - a love so strong that you decided to share it with each other forever.

My wish for the two of you is that over time your love for each other will deepen and grow so that years from now when you look back on on your wedding day, you will remember today as the day you loved each other the least.

Separately, you are two special, remarkable people but together you are complete. It now will give me great pleasure, to invite you all to stand and raise your glasses in a toast to the new Mr. & Mrs. xxxx xxxxxx

Hmmm... a few years ago when my brother was writing his BM speech I caught him on the internet. Apparently there are sites that have them. I don't know any of the addresses but if he did a search he could use those for inspiration.
