Best place for BM dresses

I have been a BM a few times now and I've gotten my dresses at Bridal Reflections, Village Bridal and The Wedding Center...

Now that it's my turn, I want to make sure I'm getting the right price and service for my girls...

Anyone have suggestions on who is the best/easiest/most cost effective shop?

Best place for BM dresses

So like you, I have a been a bridesmaid a bunch of times! The last wedding I was in was for my cousin in July. She lives in Vegas so clearly I couldn't go to the dress shop. She had us order the dresses on bridesmaids.com. She went to the shop, tried on the dresses she was interested in and just noted the designer and style#. We ordered them, and they were 1/2 the price! I did the same for my girls. The designer I am using is Alfred Sung and the dress was $220 at Bridal Reflections. I found them on bridesmaids.com for $130! Such a savings. Just a thought :)

I was nervous about using an online site to order. You didn't have any problems with bridesmaids.com? I'm also trying to figure out where to go. I don't love the selection at David's Bridal but the other dresses are so expensive.

I am thinking about using NetBride.com (they also have a shop, but this is their online version). They have great prices! The Bill Levkoff dress I'm looking at for my girls is originally $210-$220 and on NetBride its $140! I've researched their reviews and I haven't really seen a bad one (and no complaints with the BBB).

I've also heard about Bridesmaids.com (they have a store in the city called Here Comes the Bridesmaid), but I've seen some not so good reviews. It's good to see that Lydia had positive experiences both times with them though!

Also, try Burtons in Melville! I heard they have their dresses for a cheaper price (I'm not sure how much cheaper I haven't looked into it yet, but I will because ordering online makes me nervous!)

I hope someone has some good experiences to share! Every store that carries the designers I like for the BM dresses have half good half terrible reviews, especially with alterations. I'm apprehensive to go anywhere!

I have a large bridal party (10 girls) and FH is having a best woman, she ordered the bridesmaid dress in black and everyone received their dresses when we were promised and they were perfect!

i just went to fantasia bridals in rocky point with my bridesmaids and they were great! very helpful and listened to what each girl was saying about the dresses they tried on and really paid attention to how they felt. we ended up going with a bill levkoff from there.
