@Soon2BeMrsMango -- were they really expensive? I'm trying to cap the BM dresses at $200 and BR in Massapequa marked up their dresses like crazy. They had a Bill Levkoff at BR Massapequa for $250, and the same exact dress at Lilette's for $180.

I think I paid 207 this past summer. Which I feel is reasonable. However, their alterations were super expensive. I think it was like $100 or $150 dollars. So I'd go elsewhere for alterations.

Maybe try the Macy's Bridal Salon? I thought BR was pretty reasonable when I went, although I didn't get my alterations done there. Or, if you're brave, you can venture into the city, where there are a lot of smaller boutiques that have really cute BM dresses.

we are going to go to the wedding salon at the Macy's in Manhasset- they had tons to choose from and they were pretty affordable... they ranged from less an $100 to over $300... something for everyone's budget :)

I picked mine at David's bridal. I think they are awesome my girls love them. there are so many colors to choose from too.

If you're willing to travel to the city and don't need the whole 'expereience' like you would for a bridal gown - def try RK Bridal and nearby is Here Comes the Bridesmaid. Both are very affordable and have a huge selection.
