Best Place for ordering flowers for Mothers Day...

I'm in the doghouse for going on a trip this weekend instead of coming home (yeah, I forgot it was Mother's day. I'm an idiot....)

Soo.....

I need to send flowers to my Mom in Southampton. Preferably cheap, as I have no cash. Need to deliver tomorrow (as I can't imagine anyone delivers Sunday)

I was on proflowers.com but not impressed with selection or prices.

Any ideas????

I used proflowers.com this week and sent the 'Tulips for Mom' package to my mom and FH's mom. They both got the packages yesterday and loved them. Apparently they were very pretty pastels and came with a nice vase too. When I ordered them on Tuesday they were $39.99 with the free vase. If your mom likes tulips, take a look.

Other than the tulips though, there was only one other arrangement that I liked.

Maybe there is a local florist in Southampton you can call to see if they can do something special for you.

I use 1-800 flowers several times a year and had never had a problem also.

BEST thing to do is look up on yellow pages the closest florist and ask them if they deliver on Sunday.. I think that b/c of Mother's Day they do..

I have used 1800 flowers many times, even before I met suzanne and NEVER had any problems

Thanks gals - I called every florist in Southampton and none will deliver on Sunday and all want HUGE sums of money. Just ordered from 1-800-flowers (proflowers was insane with the shipping!) but had it delivered to her office (Mom works on Sat) so hopefully I'll get my a.ss out of the doghouse!

My brother sent me sunflowers 2 weeks ago from pro flowers and they are still very much alive...

I used proflowers too. I got around the pricey weekend shipping by having them arrive today. Works our great since they need a day or two to open anyway.
