I've heard some mixed reviews on certain stores being difficult with accommodating returns and different aspects of their registries (obligation to buy out the remainder, for example). I'm curious if anyone has any experience with this, and if so, what you feel are the best, most easy to deal with stores. Some things I've heard are, for example, someone receiving an item/s that came damaged, and being given a really hard time returning it/them, etc. The last thing I'd want to deal with is a hassle with that. I'm in retail, and I know mistakes happen. Some companies are very client-oriented, some are not. I'd like to know which registries you ladies recommend! TIA!

i only registered with Fortunoff's and didnt have any issues. Only thing I tried to return something more than 6 months later (i think it was 6 months) with no receipt and they wont accept it.

I have had a great experience with BBB....That is my only registry. I originally registered at Macys but wasn't getting china or crystal stemware (nothing $$$$) so the registry rep kept hassling me and calling me 2x/week and would not take no for an answer to I canceled it. Too annoying.
I have heard Target is a HORRIBLE store to register at bc they don't take all of the items off the registry when bought, you get multiples and WILL NOT accept returns without a receipt. I was very disappointed when I heard that but didn't want to be bothered with the headache after the shower.

I had mine at BBB- I had no problems with returns. You have up to 2 years.
I also had one a fortunoff. Also had no problems. You have six months. Hope this helps
