Oh Thank God. Everyone seems so into Macys. I don't really shop there to get much out of the rewards card but now I am doubting BBB with all this Macy's hoopla!

We chose Bloomingdales over Macys. For us, the customer service at Bloomingdales cannot even be compared to Macys. Your consultant at Bloomingdales will call you when items on your registry go on sale and they also call your contact people, ie my mom and MOH. My mom was able to get my china at a hefty discount (50%) because we knew about a sale!! Also, Bloomies gives you a longer amount of time after your event to complete your registry with the discount, like 9 months, whereas Macy's is 3 months, I believe. At Bloomie's you get 30% off your luggage 2 months before your wedding, if it isn't purchased already, so you can get ready for your hm!
They just blew us away. We never shop at Macys so their incentive wasn't so important to us.

me too! Just registered saturday there. Was planning on doing Macy's too, but I think we really finished everything we needed in BBB. I am going to look at Macy's though just to see if there's anything we missed.
