We went first thing in the morning on a Wednesday and there was only one other couple there. HTH!

i would say the earlier the better... we got there right when it opened and we were the first people online...

I dunno where you're at, but we went in Glen Cove and we were the only people there...no line at all. They aren't open at the most convenient times, but it was really worth it to be in and out quickly.

Depends where you're getting it - we went to Huntington during lunchtime and it was completely empty. Took 10 minutes tops and that was just paperwork, etc.

Not always! I went on a Friday morning in Queens, and the lines were long . It took about 45 mins. In general, I would avoid going on Mondays or Fridays b/c more people tend to go on those days.
