Flower Fields. It was a beautiful day with an outside ceramony! The grounds are amazing and the food was top notch. Amazing band and good group of friends. Just one of those weddings I will not forget.
The best wedding I went to was my brothers. Not being biast but the place was great. Stewart Manor Country Club. I think it depends on the guests. I knew everyone so of course I had an awsome time!

Re: Best weddings
The Woodlands. It was soooo classy and elegant. That's where I would have it, if I had the money. The second best was the Southward Ho Country Club in Bayshore, which I never hear about, probably because it's a private club and you have to be a member.

The best wedding I went to had to be my sisters. Probably b/c my entire family was there and plus I was the maid of Honor. It was a great wedding.

Re: Best weddings
my two favorites so far were one i went to last year at North Ritz Club. my other was one i went to recently at The Estate at East Winds. both really captured the ambiance of the locations as well as the couple. thats what made them great.

Re: Best weddings
Probably the best wedding I've been to was at Garden City Country Club. It was really elegant and not overdone at all. They had a fabulous band too. My second favorite wedding was at Oheka....the food, service and DJ were all perfect.

My MOH's wedding in April. It was out at East Winds, the weather was great, the food was great, I loved the photographer (thats why we're using him) and her and I are like family so I knew just about everyone it was a lot of fun!

My FSIL's wedding last august at Atlantica! It was amazing!!!!!!! From the food, the atmosphere, the staff, and all her vendors (which we decided to use as well!)

Best Wedding I ever went to was in Minnesota. My cousin is in the Air Force and was stationed in N. Dakota. His wife lived in Minnesota... about 10 minutes from the border. The church was gorgeous, the reception wasn't extravegant, but it was confortable and lots of fun. Plus we got a nice vacation out of it!

Re: Best weddings
The best wedding I had ever been to up until Monday was FH's cousins at El Caribe! Amazing food! Pus the DJ was a lot of fun! But Monday night I went to a wedding for FH's friend at Villa Lombardi and I must say that it is now tied with El Caribe as the best wedding I ever been to. Amazing food, amazing service and the DJ was great! I danced the entire night. Plus the bride and groom were so much fun! You can tell they just waned to enjoy themselves! They were on the dance floor practically the whole night! The went to the cocktail hour and got their hellos out of the way there. I think I may do this now!

Re: Best weddings
i can't choose between two
my brother's wedding at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan. The place was AMAZING, the food was so elegant, and the view over the water was breathtaking . . . also my brother had a 10 person band that sounded INCREDIBLE. . . and i personally do not like bands. . . their weddings is still on FOTO VERDI.COM if you want to check it out under their hall. . . .
my cousin's wedding at the Carltun at Eisenhower park. . . .excellent food - my favorite part was the outdoor cocktail hour it was sooo gorgeous out there! and they had an after hours with completely different more clubby vibe ( i am stealing this idea!)

Re: Best weddings
Best wedding was my friends at Villa Lombardi's. The food was awesome the staff was amzing and the vienese hour was to die for. It was an all out Italian affair with cordials, pastries, cheesecakes etc...... The band was awesome and the dance floor was packed all night. I danced my a$% off at that wedding The only reason I did choose it was b/c it was too far for my guest.

Re: Best weddings
I actually have two....the first was in Chicago, with a bunch of family I rarely get to see....the highlight of the night....a beatles cover band....my mom has actually called to see how much it would cost to get them to come here now that we are shopping around :)
Second wedding....actually just this past june 24th at the excelsior grand in staten island....the place was beautiful, but the dj made the party....he had EVERYONE on their feet ALL night.....I love a party when no one is stuck in their seat...the bartenders also went table to table getting drink orders instead of making everyone go to them...it was nice to come back each time and have a full margarita :)
