Has anyone blocked off rooms at the Best Western in Woodbuy. I'm trying to decide between them and the Holiday Inn in Plainview. I'm going to see both places tomorrow.

Re: Best Western in Woodbury
I used the Executive Inn, which is the sister company to Best Western (They are owned and operated by the same people).

Re: Best Western in Woodbury
With Bestern Western there was no guarantee. They told me the minimum to block was 10 room for $119 in june. I don't have to pay anything if they don't get booked. The rate is good until 30 days before the wedding. So my guest have to book by May 26 to get that rate.

Re: Best Western in Woodbury
Unfortunately I don't think either of those (meaning Executive or Best Western) have shuttles...not sure about the Holiday Inn
The sales director for the two BW and EI is Jessica Perez, 516-921-8500.

Re: Best Western in Woodbury
I used the Executive Inn in Woodbury as well. They were slightly less expensive than the Best Western.
I just had to block off 10 rooms, regardless if they were all used or not. & I did a combo of 2 double beds and kings

Re: Best Western in Woodbury
We booked the Marriot in Melville. They were $129 per night. We checked out the Exectuive Inn, the Inn at Fox Hollow and the Best Western. FM me if you want details!

Re: Best Western in Woodbury
I've stayed at both the BW and Executive. I liked the BW much, much better, but if the Executive is significantly less then it might be worth it.

Re: Best Western in Woodbury
The Holiday Inn has a bar that stays open for guests after the wedding. The Best Western does not. Just in case it is a factor

The bar is definatley a factors. This hotel is going to be mainly for friends. Family will stay at another hotel closer to parents house.
