if you can return it.. you might as well get it just to be safe.. if you cant... get it anyway and if there is room set it up on a nice day for your guests to get some shade... with the heat and humidity we have been having a tent might be a nice touch for the older crowd....

Even though there is a lotta shade because we choose a spot with many trees to ahve shadow its better to get it and have ppl sit under the tent?

well if you werent worried about the rain then, no. but since you are it woudlnt hurt to get it, im sure ppl will sit under it away from the sun (im sure there will be some sun)
We had a tent in my yard when we had our engagement party and it wasnt even supposed to rain
