BEWARE: CHASE HIJACK EMAIL

Ladies, if you do online checking w/ Chase, be careful of an email that looks like it is from Chase, with their logo & everything.

It states that it appears someone is trying to hijack your account and IF you did not try to log on from another computer/country to click on the link below to verify your account.

I called CHASE & they assured me the email is NOT from them & NOT to click on the link (it will allow the 3rd party to access your account).

They told me to forward the email to them & then to delete the email.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!

you alwasy have to look at for this

phishing is really dangerous. if you have to go to a website to check a bill or statement,
browse to a site on the internet, and never click on a link in a email.

if you do click on a link...pay attention to the address. for a split second, it will bounce from the the fraud website to xyzbank.com. if you dont look, you think your on chase but your not.

once you have the real place that you go to often, save it as a bookmark this way you wont type it in wrong. if you are off one letter, you can be hijacked cause its looks the same

i got one and reported it as well...

i was very surprised to see it!
