Beware - Fontana's Bridal in Scarsdale

so after months of waiting and weeks of telephone calls they tell my sister that the order for Flowergirl dresses never went through. With two weeks to the wedding there is nothing that they can do. Which means that every time, the bride, me and the mother of the other flowergirl called to inquire and they responded 'we are expecting a shipment next week' that is just a basic line they say to everyone. Apparently they sent a fax to the designer Chrisi Helene back in February, but never followed up. Apparently the fax never went through and they never thought to check on the status of the dresses every time we called. In the end we don't get Christi Helene dresses, we had to buy other dresses, and fontana's only response, sorry but it really wasn't our fault.

If you think something is wrong, go with it. Don't believe the dress shop.

the shop should have been more carfelu - I worked retail years ago and when I faxed an order to a vendor .. I followed up !

Wow thats just wrong...try going to Bloomingdales or Macys...I saw beautiful flower girl dresses there...or Davids Bridal...good luck !

That really *****. I am so sorry. I know that store well as my sister tried on dresses there and my high school graduation dress was bought there. That's terrible, I cannot stand bad customer service.

I just went through the same nightmare with my FG dresses and needed 6 of them. I'll forward you the place we ended up using. We got them quickly, I think about a week.
