Beware Stefans Florist

I used Stefan's for my August wedding at the Royalton in Roslyn. The Royalton requires you to use one of three florists. After meeting with all three, I requested samples from Stefan's and one of the other florists. I loved the creativity and size of the Stefan's sample. It was beautiful so we decided to go with Stefan's.

It was the BIGGEST MISTAKE of the entire wedding planning process. I get so upset when I think about the flowers.

The bouquets were a disaster. When they arrived at the Royalton I was shocked. I had a meeting with Josh at Stefan's about the bouquets a month before the wedding and it was as if we never met. None of the flowers we discussed were used. The bouquets were depressing to look at. The flowers were brown and wilted. The colors were wrong. My maid of honor scrambled to order a new bouquet for me from a different florist because the bouquet from Stefan's was so ugly. I had ordered extra bridesmaids dress material to use on the bridesmaid bouquets and left it with Josh when we met, it was not used on their bouquets.

The centerpieces were a major disappointment. They were MUCH SMALLER than the sample. The flowers were brown and wilted. The wrong flowers were used. The crystal holders were filthy. I was embarrassed to have them on the tables.

I was promised by the Royalton that I would be getting a refund from Stefan's. After two months we have not received any kind of refund and getting in touch with the owner is a nightmare. Avoid this florist!

Have you contacted the Better Business Bureau? That is just horrible--I'm so sorry you had to deal with the day of your wedding

Yes you need to post your review on every site you can think of, in this day and age a bad review like this can really hurt them. It sucks that this happened to you.
