i finally picked a bridesmaids dress that makes me & my girls happy. this is Lazaro 3979. the dress was in black when my girls tried it on so i just picked it, in that color. when i mentioned to FH about the girls wearing a black dress he was less then thrilled, saying that black is morbid for a wedding. i feel that its very classy.
however, as you can see its shown in this picture in brown & now i don't know which color to pick.
my other concern is how will the girls in brown look next to the guys in a black tux?
please give me some advice.

I agree.. I think black bridesmaid dresses look very classy! I am hoping to have black bridesmaid dresses at my wedding as well! Maybe you could choose some brightly colored flowers to off set the black dresses?

I don't think black isd morbid at all, it is very elegant and it looks good on everyone. I also think the chocolate brown dresses will look just fine with black tuxes... I think that is pretty normal when there are brown dresses!

well i think black is very classy especially since its my colors and my girls are wearing black! if your color is brown though then get the dress in brown...

I think black is a great color -- it looks good on everyone and then they might actually be able to wear it again. I was just in a wedding in July and we all wore black...it looked beautiful. Because it was summer the bride tied in a sage greenish color. I think black is appropriate for any season.
As for brown, I have the same concerns. I am doing chocolate brown dresses, but really dont like the black/brown combo. I want the guys to wear brown tuxes...FH isnt loving the idea
