So long story short, two weeks after our wedding one of the diamonds fell out of my wedding band ring! thankfully I was actually able to find it (it was one of 8 1/4k diamonds from my grandmothers ring) I called our jeweler and told him how upset I was that after two weeks my ring was falling apart.... He kind of brushed me off and said yes sometimes diamonds fall out, especially since they are all. NOT happy w that answer but there was nothing I could do. I brought the ring back and he fixed it( one freakin month later )
Sooooooo I go to pick up the ring today, and when I get home I realize... There is another freakin diamond missing from smaller band!!! I couldn't even breathe I was so upset!!' I called and left a message at the store but they had left for the day. I'm soooooooo upset and now I'm afraid this ring is going to fall apart and I'm really going to loose a diamond. The sentimental value is priceless.

I've been told that re-sizing a diamond band could cause them to fall out due to stretching or bending. I don't know if that applies to you. If not, it's definitely time for another jeweler.

Definitely don't stand for that!! I would Bltch at them, make them fix it, and then bring it somewhere else to be re-evaluated.

THIS !!!! it happened with my engagement ring. I am actually giving my ring to my jewler for the weekend to build up the prongs around the diamonds on my band so they wont fall out. My jewler is amazing and can fix anything. Lamonica's jewlery on sunrise service road north in Bohemia FM if you want their number.
btw if u dont fix the band ( buil it up, the diamonds will keep falling out) hth!

It was a brand new custome band, he just used the diamonds. He tried to tell me that her diamonds were old and chipped... Ummmm aren't diamonds the strongest material on earth?! What could possibly chip them! And he had them before he created the setting so he should have looked at them carefully before he made the band. If they weren't going to stay he should have told me. I'm just so upset...

Sorry to crash & sorry that is happening to u. Diamonds can crack...my engagement ring there was a cracked diamond & the jeweler originally blamed me. Once they finally fixed it they apologized and said it wasn't my fault. Your jeweler maybe be right... But take it to another jeweler for a second opinion can't hurt.
