bfing,pumping & playtex dropins-help!
hi there- figure I'd ask this here...as I cannot find this info anywhere I've looked.
I've starting pumping and fingers crossed it is going ok. Been using the liners that came with my Medela pump.
Was given 4 boxes of Playtex DROP IN liners at my shower ..1 40z size and the rest 8oz size. These have the mouth part already formed.
Does anyone have any experience with the DROP IN liners???
I've experienmented with one 4 oz size. filled it with water and tried to close it with a twist tie. Anything close to 3oz spilled over in the sink. (glad it wasnt breast milk!! )
Is it worth it to use the box of 50 liners (4oz size) to freeze BM in if I can only fill it to 2oz? I am thinking no.
Maybe I should try my experiment on the 8oz size...and only pump 4-5 oz into it.
'm having trouble with the pre formed mouth and freezing it, the regular liners you roll down the top over the twist tie to secure it.
The dropins are SUPPOSED to be easier to use ...maybe for formula users...althou I cked the reviews on babiesrus and most people who posted said they used it for BM. huh. maybe they froze in a regular liner, defrost and then pour into the Drop- IN.
