BIG AZZ VENT

not even sure who should I start venting about 1st: DH, my computer, photog, videog or all of them together

we got our DVDs right after the wedding. I couldnt open ANY of them cause it turns out my photog made them all in Mac format - doncha just LOVE that????? So tnx God DH is a designer and has a very powerful Mac so I had to use his stupid computer (and some of u know he is a big azz diva when it comes to his baby). So now I am dependent on the good graces of my DH and availability of his comp.
DH was nice enough to make me 1 DVD with everything on it. I dont know what he did, but he compressed them somehow and now I have one DVD. Nice right? NOPE!
I have a new computer and at 1st it opened the DVD but now it refuses to do so - its still too much for a Windows laptop I guess.
So yup! No FUKING wedding pix for Reg!!!
Have anyone ever heard of anything more preposterous???????? Cause I never did!
So effin mad right now!

I emailed the phtog a very demanding bridezillaish email to make new DVD so I can open and work with them finally, but knowing him he wont respond cause he is just not a confrontational type.
So all that money I spent on this fking annoying sh!t (i.e. the wedding) has been a total fking waste!

I am crying right now!

Im sorry Reg! Cant DH just do it again for you seeing how important this is to you? or can he upload the photos to a site for you to look at ??

Carey, there are over 5K of images. in order to do something he has to lower the resolution. what good is that for me??? I want to make an album for me and my parents.
plus asking him for anything is completely pointless. takes him FOREVER!

i think google's picasa can store large images??

i hope you can resolve this soon. im so sorry hun!!!!!

but if its just for basic photo books, they really dotn need the same high-quality that the photogs give. so even if G was to upload it on a basic site, it should be fine at least to SEE the images and make a basic shutterfly-type book.

if you want a better quality book, just write down the numbers and have (force) G to order those specific number

i hope your photog wakes up and sends you a dvd you can actually view!

Btw, we just got the new 27' imac and FH is obsessed with it. So I'm right there with you.
