Re: Big Brother chat

Lisa - me either. I only have 1116, and that is after the 8/19 show.

Can anyone believe Jack? How come he can't even come close to winning a competition. That was pathetic last night on the POV competition. I don't think he has a shot at all at HOH, and if he does not win, I have a feeling that Jack and Erica will be up next no matter who wins.

I can't believe Ali and Jun are aligning now. Too funny. Actually if one of them wins, the smart move would be to put up whoever does not get evicted this week and Jee (although Jun won't do that), they are much stronger players than Jack and Erica.

Re: Big Brother chat

I think that might be right Lisa. Although if they figure out that Jun did not vote to evict Justin, there may be reprecussions (sp) from Jack and Erica, (if they ever win anything again)

Re: Big Brother chat

could Jack be anymore obvious????

He definatly threw that one...

I am starting to believe Jack just doesnt want any power. He wants to stay neutral and not appear as a threat. He is a former FBI guy he knows the game.

Jack is playing the game well as to not appear as a threat.

oooh girls with Jee as HOH is he going to go after Erika for breaking the alliance??? I guess Erika and Ali on the block

Re: Big Brother chat

I agree. I think if Jack blew it last night he just lost the game for himself or Erica. Jee will probably put up Jack and Erica (although Robert hates Jun and wants her out, but Jee has a secret alliance with her--that will be interesting). I have a feeling if it is Jack and Erica, it may be Jack that goes b/c Ali wants him out (he really scares her b/c he is a good player). It's too close to the end to still be blowing competitions!

I WANT TO LIVE IN THE JURY HOUSE.

It will be interesting to see how it goes there with Nate and Justin and Dana. You know Dana and Justin will be all lovey dovey...

edited to add - I wonder what the twist is going to be? They all looked scared!!

Re: Big Brother chat

any spoilers on the twist yet??

I actually don't think Jack blew that one last night...I think he tried to do a lighter roll so that he could get closer, by not hitting the back...hmmm...I think he wants to save himself and Erika...

if jack makes it through this week...I think he may make it until the end...

Re: Big Brother chat

Its official: Erika and Jack are on the block.

The twist:
Apparently the 'Big Twist' is where they offered each HG a certain amount of money or other deal (such as safety) to make all the other HG's go on PB&J for a certain amount of weeks.

Jee is the only one admitting to taking the deal. He swears it was only for one week. Everyone else swears they are telling the truth, because it would be revealed later..

Seems the other HGs are almost as ****ed awf as I am!

Also, part of the deal is that Jee is not allowed to compete in the Veto Competition next week.

Re: Big Brother chat

I can't believe that is what the twist is.. that is so lame!!!

So either Jack or Erica are gone this week. Any ideas as to who it will be. Erica comes off as the better player, b/c Jack just stinks at competitions (unless he is throwing them, but I don't think that he is).

Re: Big Brother chat

I like that the POV is now before the nominations. That can have a great impact the nominations and probably would have improved the game if it was put into effect a couple of weeks ago. But I wish it wasn't at the cost of real food for everyone. I read somewhere that Jee said he would eat PB&J with them.

Re: Big Brother chat

Jee said it last night that he would eat PBnJ along with them. I feel so bad for Robert, this is week 3 that he is on PBnJ.

I also read an article that PBnJ for a week is not good. To only eat that and nothing else is not good for the body. For someone like Robert it can pose health dangers.

I think Jee only took the POV because he wants to secure his nominations. But he will now be a target. He is the cause of the PBnJ all week and regardless if he eats it with them, he still caused them to not have real food for a week because he wanted power.

I think this move is definatly going to come back and bite him in the @$$

Re: Big Brother chat

I just read the opposite about PB&J - that its not the worst thing you could be eating since it includes 3 of the 4 food groups (they are missing dairy). PB is a good source of protein & health fat.

Of course he did it to secure his nominations and I think everything everyone does will bite them in the @ss. His biggest problem now is that the jury members will not look at him as favorably as the probably once did. Until now, he has been pretty true to his word and honorable but this will impact him only if he makes it to the finals.

Re: Big Brother chat

Just sharing:

Here is the article I read on the hazards of PBnJ for a week

Ever suffer from malnutrition? Ever have unrelenting migraines? Ever have memory problems, trouble sleeping, depression? Well you would if you ate only PB&J

By Dr Mary

I am amazed at the amount of people who think a PB&J diet is ok. It is not! It is dangerous. For many who do not keep up to date with diet issues, carbs such as those contained in the PB&J diet, are converted into glucose. Too much glucose in the body produces lethargy and fuzziness in addition to the symptoms mentioned above. That diet does not contain the daily needs the body has for vitamins. RDAs (recommended daily allowances) are a thing of the past and are being revisited and converted into larger numbers. Plus, RDAs are for 'healthy' people not for those who are malnourished or ill.

Dr. Bernard Jensen, a doctor who has a successful nutritional correction clinic, in his text 'The Chemistry of Man,' tells us,

...'processed carbohydrates such as white bread, white flour, white sugar and products made of them are all detrimental to our bodies, and most often harmful.'

They are in virtually all processed foods today. They cause cravings for sugar and for salts, and ultimtely lead to bodily imbalances. It is recommended that only about 60% of your diet be carbs, not 100% for ANY time. A heavy carb diet can break down the kidneys.

Refined and processed foods such as PB&J not only do not have the biochemical elements with which they started, but may introduce toxic chemical additives into the body. White sugar contains 40% less calcium than raw sugar; and white flour 25% less calcium. Lets hope the jelly does not contain any red or yellow dyes! When the body's biochemical balance is thrown off in this way, by lack of nutrients and by addition of toxins, the body is longer functioning harmoniously. Unless each person has the SAME dietary condition in this house, it puts folks on an uneven playing field. This is the beginning of starvation, or robbing the body of precious vitamins and minerals it needs to function. So please, do not show your ignorance by saying a PB&J diet is fine.

The fats contained in this diet are converted by the liver into cholesterol, and not the good kind, but the LDL numbers or low-density lipoproteins. Nobody needs that. Guidelines issued by the National Cholesterol Education Program recommend the daily intake of fats be below 10%, according to the Balach's in their book 'Prescription for Nutritional Healing.'

I am a naturopath with a Masters in Natural Medicine. I have my own clinic and most of my consults are taken up with teaching people to eat correctly. It is true - we are what we eat. This diet is just inappropriate, ill advised, and irresponsible.

In health ~
