Big-Bust Ladies: What Bra for the Wedding Day?

I need a lot of support, and I really want to be lifted - and if you are big-chested you know how hard that can be. Esp if your gown requires some special kind of straps for your bra. Sooo....what is everyone doing? Any recs for a place to buy a really good, supportive bra that can be worn with a dress? Would a corset be a bad idea?

I am wearing a long-line bustier by Le Mysterie. It's great- it's soft so the bones don't dig in but it lifts and holds at the same time. It's expensive ($100) but totally worth it! I got mine at a specialty bra shop in the city but I know they sell them at Nortstroms.

Goddess is the best by far. I went to a place in Rockville Centre. The ladies in there were very nice.

Miriam's is good too, but it was a 3 hour wait to be fitted and I just didn't have the patience for that.

The store is called Bra Smyth- they are on Madison Avenue between 72nd & 73rd on the east side of the street. The bra costs $110 there but they will do minimal alteraltions for free including tapering the sides (which I had done). They are great to work with- I highly recommend going there! It's expensive but well worth it! It comes in nude & white.
