Don't be nervous! We aren't super religious (especially my FH) So I was nervous too but it wasn't bad. It was nice to be in a room with a bunch of other couples getting married. Some of the questions you talk about are funny too. For us I felt like it was all stuff we have already discussed and know about each other. At the end they blessed my ring and we got a really pretty cross it was nice.

Congrats! We did ours last month and had a great experience. Yes I know we did it super early but FH work schedule was so unpredictable we took the first weekend that we knew would work.
With her wedding in August I would say she did it in great time. We are doing ours in May for an October wedding. You don't want to wait until the last minute.
