We're making our final decision regarding what venue we are going to book and it is tormenting us because we LOVE both places! and both places offer excellent food, decor, and prices..at this point it's just a matter of us deciding which venue we want. Please help us decide...Thanks a million!

i have never been to Chateau La Mer, but have only heard great things about it
i went to 1 wedding at Chateau briand and absolutely loved everything about it.. so just for the fact that i went there and had a great time/had great food etc i will choose it

I've only been to CB, so I voted for it. But i've heard only great things about CLM too. Sorry if this doesn't help! What about the fact that CLM is on the water? CB doesn't have that. Also, are you having your ceremony at the RH? If not, you might want to decide based on where your church/temple/mosque is.

Yes, CLM is on the water and I love that fact, however CB has a gorgeous outside garden and it literally feels like you are in South Beach. I'm planning to have the ceremony in the venue and both places have an amazing space for it...this is killing me...rahhhhhh!

FH and I absolutely fell in love with Chateau La Mer at our food tasting and Nick was so accomodating that we were sold as soon as we met him. FH's cousin is getting married at Chateau Briand this Oct and has only great things to say. I think either way you will be happy.

Sorry but I'm biased..
It's on the water the food is AMAZING the whole place is beautiful the views are breaktaking Nick is a sweetheart! The main ballroom is so pretty!! the cocktail hour room is huge so almost everyone will have a seat and wont have to stand while they are eating! and the list just goes on.
But it's your wedding so the choice is up to you. lol Good Luck!

chateau la mer......its really nice. The only reason i personally didnt even think about CLM is bc i live in lindenhurst so i wanted somehere outside my town

Like everyone else was saying its your wedding and one if one the water one isn't. I personally would go with the one that is giving you the most for your money! You also need to consider if the weather is bad which one would you rather be at? Hope this helps!!

Personally I am a little biased but i think Chateau La mer i believe will give you the most bang for your buck.
The food at CLM is amazing!! The food is great and of course its on the water which makes for excellent pics! The ceremony area is beautiful too Unfortunatly if it rains the inside area isnt perfect but it cleans up very nicely in case of rain. Also IMO i like it very much becasue it is not on a main road to get into the venue. Those are just a couple of things i liked about CLM.
Chateau Briand on the other hand is also a beautiful place. Ive been to 2 events there and my experiance was different at both. if you want some details please FM me...
I chose CLM but i think you will have a beautiful event whichever you choose!

I visited both, Chateau Briand was my second choice. Only because of location. Most of my guests are from queens.

FH and I were in the same boat as you
We went with Briand because their out door area is larger and their cocktail room is nicer
FH felt that the location of Briand is better for our guests as well where as Le Mar has only one road in and one road out

Im in the middle of looking as well. I also have looked at both. If I had a choice, Hands Down Chateau Briand. I'm actually really close to booking there myself!!!

love both I of coarse love chateau briand a little more,lol i wish i could getnmarried outside were having our ch outside very south beachy, were are getting marrried at church, chateau la mer is great too love the water and plam trees. how many guests are you having? if it at chateau la mer would you use the big room downstairs i love that room. if i choose to have it there i would had room upstairs bc i only had 130 people whic is not handicapp accesibble for my cousin and not easy to acces for older guests. just to keep in min :)
