everyone lies at least once in their lifetime.. if not more.. but would you marry a liar?
what lies from your FH have you pass on and let it slide? What lies would you not lies? Or do you simply dont care?
I personally hate LIARS with a passion so if i catch FH lying to me.. i really get upset because im always honest....

if he lied to me about a gift or a surprise id be cool with it AFTER i nagged and nagged and nagged until I ruined the surprise.
If it was something else no..especially if it was relating to another girl, or something that would break my heart.

I hate lies. Big or small. I had major issues with FH in the beginning because he'd tell stupid little lies so I wouldn't get upset. He has since learned to just be honest about everything because he's a HORRID liar and has awful memory and I always catch him later and I get pissed

i hate liars too.... i never lie to FH and if he tries to lie to me.. i always know and ask is that the truth and he laughs and then we both laugh... its never anything serious....

I don't really recall having either one of us lie/catch a lie. We exaggerate sometimes, but we don't lie to each other. I think it's because he has no filter, which I guess comes in handy with this issue. And I can't tell a lie without turning purple. I have seen FH tell lie to his parents before, and memorized his weird mannerisms, so I will know when/if a lie comes my way. We are very big on trust. It's better to just 'fess up than to lie and have it uncovered, which is twice as bad.

I have been lying to FH for a week now and its SO HARD! His dude friends are throwing him a surprise going away party tomorrow and I have to get him there. I am the worst liar ever and I know he knows something is up. But I would never lie to him about something that wasn't a gift/surprise and I hope he wouldn't lie to me either. When we first started dating, one of the things that we like so much about each other was that we told it straight no matter what!

same thing!!! lol totally agree!!!i hate when people lie in general and i always try to be as truthful as a person as i can be! the FH used to think it was better to make these little lies so i wouldnt get so angry but it only made me furious lol!! and like you said we always know when they are lying! if im going to be upset about it its better to be honest bc if you lie id be even more piissed off and it only makes things worse!!

Lies never lead to anything good. So telling the truth can't be worse. I hate lying. I always tell my children if you do something wrong I rather you be honest and you will be in less trouble then if you lie about it.
Surprises aren't really lies its more of a hiding and keeping something from someone. But its a good thing.
