Ok i dont get something lol...alot of ppl say they can't watch it bc they are skeeved out and dont accept it...but how many movies do we all watch with ppl getting murdered, people getting raped, drug lords and so on and some of these movies will be our favorites. Compared to murder, rape, abuse and all those things having 3 wives isn't the worst thing on tv
i get skeeved, its an emotion sometimes they can are unexplainable~in this case that's what it is~i hate the idea of 3 women sharing a husband, it makes me sick to my stomach![]()
also, in all those movies, its accepted that the rape, drugs, and murders are bad, that's the point~in big love the whole thing is that it's not portrayed as this disgusting manifestation of human relationships (which it is).

i actually think it is a beautiful representation of a non traditional lifestyle
they dont glorify it bc they do show the compound and how messed up polygamy can be but then they show Bill and his busines partner and how 'normal' their lives are - and I have to say it is so amazing to me . . . most people dont even have enough faith to go to church on sunday and these women ( the real ones that they represent) have enough faith to share their husband with sister-wives. . .
Of course, I would never be able to do that but I think it is great to see that it doesn't have to be some strange cult like tradition - and it can have a place in modern day society.
I was disappointed in Bill when he started to cheat though but i guess it shows his weakness and really, Margine's strength since SHE is the convert trying to keep up with the principle!

I happen to love this show!
Of course I would never want to be in this situation and would never feel ok sharing MY husband with 2 other women...I just find it entertaining to watch....so I do!
