On a whim, MOH, one of my BM's, and I went to a place called 'Maid to Order' around the corner from my house to see if they had the below dress (Jim Helm.) Turns out they had it, and both of them tried it on, and loved it! So....my other three BM's are going to look at it tomorrow and we'll place an order very soon!!!
Also, I was originally going to go w/a color theme of white, amethyst (lillac) and gold, and didn't like the colors the dress came in, so we switched!
Color theme is now: Black, White, and Gold! Going to change my Sample CP's to all white on a bronze pedestal instead of the purple's....
Great news...and the BM dress pictures is veautiful and certainly something that can be worn again.

Hey-I love the dress. Not sure if you are open to suggestions on this, but I bet the lilac would look really pretty as an accent color with the black, white and gold theme. Just a little hint in your flowers and decor for a spring feel. Just my opinion, it would be lovely either way.

I greatly appreciate the suggestion. We did check out the colors it came in and they were very pastel and a few of the girls would look too washed out.

Hi again-I think the dresses in black would look great. I just meant keeping lilac in the color scheme somewhere else, I think it would look great if some of the CP and boks had a little lilac along with white, etc.

I was just looking at that dress tonight, and also checking along the lines of different Jim Hjelm dresses. I have to change my color scheme as well because I'm not crazy about his yellow....so now I'm leaning towards peach!! Just hoping my girls don't look washed out in his colors either!!!

The colors for this specific dress and most of the cotton sheen ones are very pastel and light. I was really surprised b/c I had my heart set on lillac and gold. But, in the end, you have to see it in person! good Luck!

Don't give them a choice. I originally gave the girls a choice of six dresses to choose from (including this one) and every single one drove me up the freakin' wall with a complaint...if it wasn't the material, it was the length, if it wasn't that it was the color (meanwhile we were going to order the colors just yet, just pick a stle first) or it was the way it was cut! So...in the end (after the advice of many liweddies) I said 'here's the dress, if you don't like it, I'm sorry, but it suits all your body types, and this is what i would like.' They all shutup, saw the dress, tried the dress, and now love the dress.
