can anyone give a good suggestion on where to go for a bikini wax in Manhattan. I work in times square so anywhere on the N/R or 1/9 works best. TIA.

My coworkers and I go to Eruan Spa on 37th st and 5th ave (you can probably walk from times square) Ask for Tania. 212-279-4538

Devachan Salon on Broadway and Prince. Its where I get my regular hair done, but they just opened a salon there too. Tania is the waxist, and she is wonderful and gentle.

I know this may sound weird, but I go to Unique Threading on 7th Ave, near my work. They do sugaring! It doesnt hurt! I had waxing at Squeeze Cream during spa week, which was great, but OMG it hurt. Sugaring is Awesome! It doesnt bind to the skin, only the hair.

Bliss Spa on 49th. there wax is as pain less as possible and you dont have to get into weird positions. They are very professional and do a quick and thorough job.

I just wanted to say that i went to bliss and it was great. I had gotten them before years ago and from what i remember this was much less painful and nicer.
Anyone looking for a place to go i highly recommend here.

My friend heard good things about them... but I think if I try it I will go to bliss- I heard it's not as painful... plus I have a gift card there!! It's from my boss who would prob laugh if she found out that I ditched the massage and got my crotch waxed- but hey- gotta do what ya gotta do right??
I was going to do laser hair removal and actually had an appt for yesterday.. but I canceled it when my mom called me crazy for spending all this money on that! It is veryyy expensive so I might give waxing a try!

BLISS!!!! i wnt to the one on 57th st... they use this super gentle gel wax that comes from australia,,, for my first time i went there and it hurt for that split second but it wasnt as bad is a ithought it would be.... infact i was surprised!!! good luck!
