Bill Levkoff #966 -- I need HELP!!!

I wanted to bustle the dress and cut the sash to floor length, but my bridal shop wont cut the sash. She said theres too much of a chance that they wont come out symetrical Anyway, she instead suggested doing this other thing with the sash where its almost folded over and pinned (kind of like GothBride's sash on her wedding dress). I'm not thrilled with the look to be honest.

I think I've seen this dress where the sash itself is bustled the botton is pinned in several places. I cant find any pics tho Anyone know what I'm talking about, have pics, or any other suggestions for this dress??

my girls had their sashes cut. they looked fine. have them keep the angle and measure it to the floor while they're wearing heels. only ONE of my BMs didn't get it cut and she bustled it...i didn't like the look at all. way too busy and big.

i would insist on having them cut it.

my girls are wearing the same dress -- and I have been debating how they should alter it as well -- cause I love the look in pictures of the train and long sashes. yet it's more practical to shorten the sashes and have a regular hem.

but I would love to see pictures of this dress bustled!! thanks!!

ooooh sooo classy and elegant! Great choice!

I remember finding a pic from a wedding who's BP was in all black- but not with a white sash. If you do a search for that dress, you might find that post.

ETA- found the pic!

I am doing a very similar dress, Style #957. I am doing the dress, including the sash in burnt orange....

I wish I could find a picture to post!!
