One of my BMs went for her first fitting yesterday and I took a bunch of pictures! We decided to make the straps detachable, and go strapless for pictures and the ceremony. Anyone who wants to add them back for the reception can do so if they feel more comfortable.
This BM hated the straps and thought they were uncomfortable, and at least one of my other BMs has no desire to wear the straps anytime. It will be interesting to see what my sis/MOH decides -- she was orig staunchly pro-strap but is now wavering. Her first fitting is tomorrow. I always hated the straps, but let them order this dress because my girls said they preferred them. Seamstress was pretty confident the dresses will be secure, especially w/ undergarments.
Its a great color and the straps are a good idea!!

it's a little purplish in person, but i think it looks more blue when it's in natural light. it also looks better when photographed without the flash than with
i do like it though!

OHHHH I'm soo HAPPY you posted this! We picked the same dress in the same color!! I've been so nervous about how they will actually look, bc I've only seen the small swatch they show you at the store. They look GORGEOUS! Exactly what I thought! SOOO Excited!! I hope mine come in soon too!
The strapless thing is something to think about!

Yeah!!! My girls got their Indigo Blue dresses not to long ago. I agree, at first I thought it looked a little purple but I realized that it was the lighting in the salon. I LOVE the color and the material. Being a summer bride, all my girls loved how light it was!!! I also picked my flowers last weekend My florist was so excited about the color

what are you doing for flowers? i keep wavering!
i keep going back to the coral callas (maybe mixed in with pinks, or peach roses or something in that color scheme) but i am still uncertain. the dress has hints of red so it might be nice, but it might be weird! my sis thinks it would look good but im still open to other ideas!

I love the color! Love the dress!!!!! Great choice. We were going with that dress too but in Brown, but ended up going with the Impressions version b/c it fit one of my BM's better and was actually a little cheaper.

that is exactly how i felt too, except we also ordered a yard of the fabric. i had only seen pictures!
yours should be in so soon, your wedding is only one week after me and the dresses came in a week ago tomorrow
