Where the heck is this thing supposed to sit on my head? I've tried it in a million different places and nothing seems to be working.

Re: Bird Cage veil question
Do you have a hair stylist? They are usually helpful with head piece placement.

Re: Bird Cage veil question
Its gonna have to be pinned in, usually the comb is put in right by your hair piece so it looks like its coming out of there...but once its in its not gonna wanna lay right w/o some bobby pins keeping it in place.
I have one...I love/hate it. I love the look but I will be wearing it for the shortest amount of time possible because it is seriously annoying (then again my mother insisted that mine be down over my face all the way so that's probably part of it).

So if I have a headband would it come off of the side of that? Or should I just wear the veil during the ceremony and then put the headband on afterwards?>

Yeah, I'm only wearing mine for the ceremony. I didn't want to wear a veil at all but I thought my mother would cry if I didn't. UGH. I guess if I ever find someone to do my hair I'll make them pin it in place and see what happens.

hmmmm... never thought of headband scenario
i think it should go over the headband - that way when you take off the veil (im assuming you are planning on taking it off) you dont need to worry too much about re-styling your hair.

I also like it coming across the side sortve.
And I also will only be wearing it for a very brief period of time.

Re: Bird Cage veil question
I have a birdcage veil AND a fingertip length and plan to decide day of!
I emailed my hair person (Stacy Pitt) so say I was overly confused by birdcage veil and she said that everyone is, it just needs to pins to stay in place!
