BIRDSEED

HI ALL, I WAS WONDERING WHAT YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO THROW AT THE CHURCH WHEN YOU AND YOUR NEW HUBBY LEAVE! MY CHURCH BASICALLY SAID NO TO EVERYTHING EVEN BIRDSEED!!!

they have this heart shaped rice that is safe for birds... dont know if my church allows it but if u dont ask and just bring it there they cant say no!

Do you where I can get that in a store? I was just going to buy my own birdseed and wrap bundles in tulle.

The deacon at our church said we are 'not allowed' to technically throw anything but he said...what are they gonna do if you do??? We are doing birdseed ...

I think I have seen it at Michael's but not positive. Maybe call and ask or stop in.

I know they have it in my wedding store in BK. I think they are from either lillian rose or beverly clark

We used the heart shape rice. You can get it at Michaels or AC Moore. We asked our priest if we could throw this ( we weren't allow to throw anything either) and he said yes. The day of I was telling the GMs to get the rice to everyone and the church assistant said we cant throw anything. I said the priest said we could. She couldn't say anything, you cant tell a bride no on her wedding day.

Yeah my church wont let you throw rose petals, or rice. Only birdseed, and I dont want that thrown in my hair!!! So we got cute little bells and I put ribbon around them and my guests can just ring them instead!!

You could do bubbles or the ribbon wands. Both look really cool in pictures.

We were told no to anything...including birdseed...so we x'ed it and didnt throw anything

I thought I was the only one!! My church said no throwing anything because it is too mess! I was tempted to say I will have my brothers sweep it up, it's not that big of a deal!!

My church isn't even going to let us play a song for the during the ceremony unless it mentions GOD in it.
