good poll! my church doesnt allow anything except rice and birdseed! I am doing bubbles, i really wanted to do rose petals because the pics look amazing with them, but i hope we can do something with bubbles..

i wanted rose petals too, but my church doesn't really have a big cleaning crew (or even a small one), so we're doing bubbles - I never liked them until I saw a picture that my photographer took where they looked great.

u have to find out with the church lets you use bird seed, b/c i belive u can't anymore,... we are doing bubbles

We're using ribbon wands, but we're also doing dove releases

we are doing rose petals, because I love them, but I find the ribbon wand so unique and fun. My friends did them, and even though it was time consuming, so maybe peopled talked about it.

bubbles are done in my book. I find them kinda boring. And a littled played out

Birdseed is nice, but most churchs are extremely strick about this. I know my church, St. Patrick's in Smithtown doesn't allow birdseeds, hello they have mass after my wedding a don't want a bunch of birds at the entrance

Ribbon wands and they also have lil bells on the end that will ring. Here's a pic:

haha i was just thinking about the ribbon wands...with my group, probably half of the people would throw them at us not knowing what to do with it!

Biodegradable heart shaped rice. they sell it in michaels.

i heard the butterflies are tough because they die in shipping, or in peoples hands....

anyone doing balloon release?

Thats a cute idea!!!!

I'm using bubbles for the kids and rose petals for the adults.

I had my heart set on throwing petals before we met with thte priest, so I made myself want to do bells (mini-bells).

Then we met with the priest and he said there are NO restrictions...so we're doing Rose Petals!!
