Birth cont. pill question

I've been on the pill for ust about 10 years and want to go off of it..Do you think I can just stop taking it, or should i go see my doctor?
Has anyone else been taking it for a long time??

I took it for longer than that and just stopped a few months ago.

did you just stop on your own or did you speak to your doctor first? Did you notice any changes with your body or period or anything ?

I think you are supposed to talk to the doctor -- especially if you went of so as to TTC -- they get you started on other things, I think.

I just stopped and was on it for a long time. I am not trying to conceive and I did not talk to a physician first. Now you got me questioning it??uh ohhh..hope I did the right thing..

i just stopped taking it a few months ago. I didnt ask my doctor- I am going on Wed for my annual so Ill ask him..
