birth control

I started Loestrin 24 yesterday and everytime I start to take it, I get terrible headaches about a half an hr - hr into it
For any ladies taking loestrin- has this happened to you? and for those of you who are taking another brand pill, what have your experiences been with it? ( no Yaz, my gyn said he does not recommend that pill)

I've been on Orthotricyclen for like 8 years now and never had any side effects...not even when if first started takin it

ETA: Hope you feel better!!! I would talk to your gyno about....there are lots of differenct BC choices

I take loestrin FE (the placebo's are iron pills) and I rememeber when I first started I had to play with different times of the day to take it, and I learned to take it with food or else I'd get 'morning sickness'. Try taking it at a different time of the day and see if it makes a difference if it's taken with or without food.
I'd say if it keeps up, call your Dr.
I do have to say this is the best brand of the Pill I've been on. It is a miracle pill.

you have to remember that everyone is going to react differently.

take the pill with a cup of milk or something that will coat your stomach. or take it before bed.

otherwise, it might just not be the one for you.
