I am normally a Sunday starter, but I couldn't make it to the pharmacy yesterday to pick up the new pills. Should I double up on pills today, or should I just start taking my pills on Mondays now?

That happened to me this past month-I just doubled up on the monday and so far so good.

I would double up today...otherwise its just like u skipped a day and that might mess up the effectiveness of the pill.

The information that comes with the pills says to double up. Just be aware since you missed a day, it reduces their effectiveness in preventing pregnacy.
*Editted to add: Actually, I just asked my mom about BC and she said the effectiveness can be reduced by just taking the pills at a different time. It's recommended you take them at the same, exact time every day (she's a PA). Just a thought.

My doc told me to double up on Monday. If youve been on BC for a while it wont mess anything up.

I just had this happen to me recently after 2 years of being on the pill. I'm on Yaz.
Double-up monday and then keep taking it at the same time everyday. You should be okay!

Just start taking them today.. Then the last active pill you can miss in order to be ok to start the following sunday.. FM me with any questions.. I have my pills on 'lock'
ETA: You can also double up in Monday.. It wont mess you up at all.. I've been on Orthotricyclen for over 5 years...
