birthday dinner

has anyone ever eating at The Gatsby - in Islip ... its FH!! birthday Saturday and sadly i still havent decided on a dinner place...

My bro went with his GF to Gatsby's and he LOVED it, he said it was reasonable too - I think he said it came to $80 for the two of them - which isn't bad considering they got apps and drinks. Sometimes FH and I spend $60 at Friday's so for an extra $20 you get the 'ambience'....

i totally dont mind spend extra $ for the ambiance etc, afterall its a special occasion, thanks though

FH and I have been there a couple of times for dinner. He took me there the night he proposed. Very romantic and the food is great!

The gatsby is one of my all time favorite places. The food is good and the ambiance is so cozy!!!

I have never been there, but I do recommend 105 Harbor in Cold Spring Harbor. We went there to celebrate our engagement, and it was probably the nicest place we have ever eaten at. And really romantic!
