Birthday gift recommendation

Saturday we have a birthday party to go to for my best friend's daughter, she is going to be 2. I need some recommendations for a gift. What is hot? What would she love from her Aunt Jennifer. I already got her a plastic red wagon (think Fisher Price looking) that is handpainted with flowers and her name on it. I want to fill it with some other things. I already bought a sack of outdoor toys: buckets, shovels, etc for outside. Maddie has a ton of toys already. I was thinking to get some more outdoor stuff. I was also thinking of a 'Build-a-Bear'. What do you guys think?

I almost always buy books for my nieces and nephews, because they have TONS of toys. I think I might be the only one who does! The little ones especially like those ones that are made of the thick cardboard that don't crease.

My nephew used to like having the outside stuff to help his dad, like a kidde rake and shovel. Maybe that would go well with the wagon too.

I would suggest something for outside and maybe something she can peddel, like a big wheels or another type of ride on toy. All my nieces and nephews love that stuff.

We got a collapsible tube/tunnel thing for our neice when she was about that age and she loved it. The idea of crawling through a tunnel was incredibly fascinating to her (although I think her parents were less wild about their own trips through the tunnel!). It was about $10.

How about LeapPad? They have one for babies and one for 3 and up. We bought the 3 and up for our 2 year old nephew and while he doens't understand all of the learning yet, he still enjoys the music, and it ahs all differnt cartridges you cna buy in the future will all favorite characters. We got it at target, but I actually saw the blue one on sale at amazon.com for $10!
