~*~*~* Birthday QOTD*~*~*~

Good morning Ladies!!

So today is my birthday and it got me thinking about my life and getting married and how happy my FH has made me.

I have a simple question today.

What is your favorite birthday moment with your FH? Either his B'day or yours.

ine was last year, the only B'day I have spent with him.

He took me to dinner in times square. It was a place that was all glass and we got to eat 'over' Times Square. The view was great, the food was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. THEN, we had to scoot out before 8 because he surprised me with Orchestra seats to 'Wicked'.

It really was the best birthday ever!!

ETA: No sooner had I sent this than a delivery man came. FH had BEAUTIFUL flowers delivered to the office. If this is 39 I cant wait for 40!

I have a few I think.. birthdays are always the best! I would have to say for me it was when he took me to a bed and breakfast in greeport for the weekend.. it was SO much fun!! and For his birthday one year I gave him Sam Adams Utopias.. its a $300 bottle of beer.. His face was priceless.. he was SO happy and excited.. He called up all his friends to tell them

One of the best birthdays was when he took me to this hibachi restaurant in Pelham that i had been dying to go to and from there he surprised me by going to the casino at Yonkers raceway that i had also been dying to go too also. It was just a fun night

Mine was probably this past bday… my 30th (eek!) It was actually a birthday weekend! Friday night we went to Smoking Al’s with 3 of my best friends and stuffed ourselves. Saturday night DH took me and 10 of my friends to dinner at King Umberto’s, and then we went to Croxley’s after. And then on Sunday we had a big BBQ at Eisenhower with our families and a bunch of our friends, complete with a water balloon toss, relay races and egg on a spoon races.

It made turning 30 seem less horrible.

My favorite birthday moment of mine was my 21st birthday...FH took me to dinner at Mama Lombardi's (sign of future things), then we went to Port Jazz at night because Big Shot was playing, and it was the first day I could get in haha, and FH had went up to the singer and had him dedicate She's Got a Way to me...and now it's our wedding song.

Close second would be my 22nd bday, when FH tried to surprise me by bringing me to the outdoor skating rink in Greenport on the Harbor, except I had figured it out LOL and ruined it as I do with all surprises he plans for me, followed by an EXCELLENT dinner at Bliss.

My favorite birthday moment for him was his 27th birthday...I took him to brunch at Lombardi's on the Sound (we really are too predictable), then we took the cruise around Port Jeff Harbor, walked around Port Jeff and Stony Brook Village, then went to dinner at Bliss...which clearly I didn't think carefully through after the massive brunch. FH says it was the most romantic thing I've done for him...figures, a ton of food

This past year we went for my birthday to see Jersey Boys with my parents. I did my makeup trial in the morning then we went into the city to the Met and then we walked around Times Square, had a nice Italian dinner and then went to Jersey Boys. It was a great birthday.

DH always hates his birthday, he said its bad luck. But next summer I already have a spectacular 30th planned in my head for him.


The funniest memory involving DH was before we were dating, our freshmen year of college, my guy friends thought it would be funny to birthday prank me. My friend Brian distracted me while Mark and Jay (DH) went to my room and rigged up a pully system using extension cords so that when I opened the door I would set off my fan. Then they put a folder with confetti on my fan. So when I came in my room and opened my door confetti flew EVERYWHERE!!!! That was March 1... I was still finding confetti when I moved out over 2 months later in May. I still give DH a hard time about that one.

fri night---we went into the city to see a play,have dinner,take the horse and carriage ride then we did one of those murder mystery things..which he told them it was my birthday and they made me part of the show

sat--first ot started off by going to medieval times..it was funny cause we had just talked bout how i had never been there so all our friends came too..then we went to a knicks game and then espn zone for some games

sun-which was my actual birthday,e took me to my fav place in the world--the hall of science--i knw he hated every seond of it,but i love it there lol...folowed by a cake at my house with my famly


he was crazy for doing all that but it was the best birthday ever

my fav bday: the first bday we were together FH and my friends surprised me with a limo to NYC. We went to Culture Club and had so much fun. It was so unexpected and nice that my friends and FH put it together!

my fav bday of FH is also my LEAST fav bday of his: his 30th was last year and his mom and I planned a surprise party for him. it was on a sunday afternoon so he could watch the Giants game with all of his friends. FH told us both NO SURPRISE PARTY but we did it anyway well, the night before was my friends bach party and i was out til 4am and unknown to me, FH was out getting drunker than he's ever been EVER with his friends. I was in charge of getting him out of the house in the AM so that FMIL and his aunt could set up and get everyone in the backyard so we could surprise him. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get him up that morning and when i finally got him out of the house he ended up complaining so much and giving me such a hard time that i was ready to be like 'WE'RE THROWING YOU A PARTY YOU DUMBA$$!!!!!!!' but i held it together and just took him home. in the end, he figured it out when he saw his cousins pulling up to the house. I still give his friends sh!t for getting him so drunk the night before KNOWING that he was having a party. He was hungover all day but was a good sport about it. Never will i EVER plan a surprise party for him again!!!! It was such a rough morning, but it turned out to be a really great day!

I'll say the most recent was his birthday and it was also the day we bought tickets for the whole bridal party plus some extra people to go to the Met game!!

it was some great drunken fun!! Just the kind of fun I need... especially on a Saturday morning!!!!

My favorite birthday with FH was my 40th (last August).

We got engaged in mid-July so I was on a super-high. Then for 40, he threw me a surprise party with all my friends and family there! It was great. I got to show off my new e-ring and it took the sting out of turning 40!!!

I love that man!

so for FH's bday I took him out to dinner and then surprised him with tickets to see Family Guy Sings at Radio City

He was sooooo touched bc one it was a total surprise but two he knew that it was something I would never do on my own so he just thought 'wow, you would do this for me!!' it was fun to surprise him too..

for me he took me to dinner and then to a dance lesson which was so fun. . said he wanted to be able to dance with me until we were old!
