i love all you girls, you have made me so happy, i just found this website a couple days ago and am addicted already, you know why?? well because although im planning a june 25th 2005 wedding, im already married since june 25th 2004. and since i got married a moved far away from all the people i know and have no one to share wedding stories with, its very sad, to the point where my husband has cried for me, he feels so guilty and bad. but even when i got married at city hall this last june, none of my friends were really happy for me, they were very self involved and so even back then i felt alone, so......... having said all that, although i dont know you all i feel so good being a part of this wonderful thing called the liweddings.com, i think it was God sent. thanks again all!!!

no, i live in jersey and braddocks is in medford nj, the cutest little colonial town, my husband and i just passed the loc. tonight and coincidentally there was a wedding going on tonight. very nice, im happy we picked it. cant wait to come back tomorrow, my husband just peaked in and joked im putting in too many hours, lol. goodnight.

we got married in city hall on august 29, 2000 and are planning a wedding for next year... it is kinda weird because we are married already but I am so excited about it nevertheless

I live in California and my whole family is in NY. I went to look at dresses on a visit to NY this summer twice with my mom and sister but it wasn't the 'special moment'' I thought it would be. My mom and sister fought the whole day and it was basically ruined. I had to try on dresses alone out here since I had no one to go with. I actually had more fun since the women in the store felt bad for me and tried to make it special. GO and enjoy- sometimes have people along can be a downer!

I have only gone dress shopping alone. As soon as I stopped feeling sorrry for myself, I found it to be very relaxing. I love the idea of finding my dress for me and only me, and not being influenced by others in the decision.

in a way, i had wished that i went by myself. Although it was good to have other opinions, its cool to save the surprise for EVERYONE until the wedding day... i like that hint of mystery
