I am a HUGE Shakespeare fan. I have always been. One of the nicest gifts FH ever gave me was my fav poem printed on antique paper and framed. The ONLY time fh will come see a play with me (he actually liked operas though) is if it's a Shakespeare....
anyway, we had been kicking ideas around about table numbering and I was thinking of numbering it after Shakespeare's sonnets or monologues from some of my favorite plays....
Come to find out...our wedding day is both Shakespeare's birth AND death day...AND we are booking 12th NIght photography (which happens to be the ONLY play FH has truly enjoyed)
Looks like I definitely have my theme!

That's really neat. You can print out sonnets and fame them and put a different one on each table.

That is really cool! You can add sonnets to your program as well. Maybe someone can do a reading from a Shakespeare play or sonnet. Also, Westbury Manor is so Victorian -- it definitely adds to your theme.

I am getting excited now...I am in full on Elizabethan England mode now!
I want to research his plays and other works to see what flowers (besides roses) and predominantly mentioned....
and now I know the style for the programs, STD's, and invites!
I was thinking of having this sonnet read at the ceremony:

thats how i felt when i got into the whole floral terrace being a theatre thing.... haven't got into the details yet...but it is fun to have a theme and follow it through!
