my bridesmaids and i love this black bill levkoff BM dress with a rose colored sash but havent ordered it yet. its a lovely dress. but i am hearing things from people like my mother such as 'the pictures will be dull' and 'black isnt a great color for summer.' its making me second guess the dress. do you think my pics will be dull? is black bad for summer? ps- i want to use hot pink and light pink flowers and the dress is tea length. wedding is a friday night. do any of u guys have pics of your weddings with black BM dresses? thanks!

we went with a dark grey for the bm dresses and I dont think it looked dull at all. I would just make sure the flowers are a bright color.

I think if you like the dresses, you should go for it. My bridesmaids wore a black dress with white beading, and I had a summer wedding. There was plenty of color with the flowers and the mens' kilts.
I am most likely going with black - deep red and yellow roses, a few daisys and other flowers...I love the way it looks.

i love blackBM's dresses. i was a BM in a wedding with black gowns & it is the only BM dress that I have ever worn again after using it for a wedding. I think they are esp. elegant for an evening affair.

my wedding is in june on a friday night and i'm having my girls wear black bill levkoff dresses with a champagne sash. they are also tea length. i think it looks so elegant and classy.

Haven't picked dresses yet, but I am using black! You will have flowers that will stand out against the black. I think its very elegant!!!

I was in a 5:00pm, Friday, wedding in May and we wore black, floor length dresses. The pics were beautiful.

I had black BM dresses in July and EVERYONE raved about how classy it looked

I am getting married in mid september...I have just decided this week that my color scheme will be black with cream and pink accents...imo if you do black dresses with very colorful flowers it looks awesome!!!!....and with the sash like you said it will be beautiful...dont worry at all...
