I really like black bridesmaid dresses but both my mother and FML hate the idea and think its morbid... i'm thinking of a black, silver/champage, pink theme...anyone else doing the same? can u share some pics..i'm having troulbe finding some thx ladies!

I want to do black but everyone is telling me too that it is morbid and that most guests usually wear black to weddings so the bm won't stand out... I don't know what to do bc i am getting married in April and I want something that makes a statement. To be honest, I dont even want to buy bridesmaid dresses- i want to put my BM in evening wear because i think some of the BM dresses are soooo boring and typical. I don't know what I am going to do BUT i do love black for bridesmaids!

I dont give a crp what ppl say, lol, sorry...I really was not happy about any other choice except maybe like a mocha or dark champagne color but my 2 friends just got married and had their bms where this so either of these will be my bm dress. Basically there are exactly the same but diff designers. I know with the first one by Jordan Fashions, you can change the color under the lace...I really like the pink shown in the pic but Im thinking of ivory or champagne as well. Im still confused about their bok colors because even though ivory would look so classic and beautiful, I am having an ivory bok, so I was thinking of pink and had to decide on the shades, I was considering red but thought it wouldnt show up but from the pictures above, it does show which give me hope!
Here you go with my bm dresses, either one...ok only the Jordan Fashions one will post but no big deal, they are the same really

I'm thinking about doing black dresses... my wedding is in July so I am torn between back or more summery colors like yellow or green. With the black i want to do cocktail length and get the girls bright pink/fushia shoes and a pink flower in their hair! i just love that idea.... maybe i'll still go with black! I think its very elgant... so ifyou want to do it, do it!

i think black and white (or black with any other color) is very elegant. My MOH had black and white as her wedding colors. let me see if I cant find pics when I get home tonight

My brother's getting married halloween and BMs have black dresses with purple sashes, tea lenght. we can wear whatever accessories we want. sorry i dont have a pic either.

i had black BM dresses w/ champagne as the accent color. It wasnt morbid, it's classy no matter what time of the year the wedding is. Black never goes out of style. I say go for it. pics in albums
