I'm struggling with this, I love the idea of black bridesmaid dresses, maybe with a fuschia (spelling?) wrap around the waist? Has anyone done black? My fiance is worried they will blend in too much with the tux's. My other option is fuschia dresses, but I'm thinking they'll blend too much with the flowers (fuschia, orange, pinks, red). Just looking for some ideas, any pics would be great, thanks in advance!

My cousin had us in Black and I have to tell you that we were all very happy about it! Its simple, yet elegant and if the girls love the dress they can wear it to another affair down the line.
For my wedding I am only having 1 Bm and that is my sister and I told her to get a black dress. I don't care what style it is, just as long as you like it and you are comfortable.
I think you BM's will love it if you pick a black BM dress.

I am doing Black dresses with hot pink and light pink flowers....My flower girl is wearing a fuschia dress with a black sash.

We wore long black dresses for my sister's wedding, and they looked great. It was very elegant and we had purple flowers which really popped against the black.

I'm doing black gowns. They are a trumpet style, with a lace bodice, the color underneath the lace is ivory and red for the moh. It looks gorgeous. I'm doing all red flowers.
I think if you did black with the fushia flowers, it will look stunning and really pop

My girls are wearing black dresses with pink sashes.. this is the dress... but the sash here is not pink.. I think it looks very beautiful & elegant depending on how you do it
Another girl on here just did pink & black as well.. but baby pink like I am..

I'm doing black dresses, no sash or anything. And then the flowers are going to be autumn colors (ish). I think black dresses are so elegant. And the bride (ME!) will stand out in all the pictures!

I think it is a very elegant choice to pick black and to be real here, most girls can wear a black dress again. They are paying for their dresses right, so let them wear something that they will be able to use after the wedding! I have dresses in my closet that were beautiful but I won't be wearing them again which is kind of a waste. I am going to do chocolate brown dresses because I thought that was a color that can be used again and in all seasons but I think black is the number one choice for a dress that is economical, useful, and very elegant!

Yep... me too. Black, white sash and going to have the ladies carry white flowers, callas. I think it will flatter everyone, it will be a black and white type theme..bride and groom will pop in pictures.
