my girls are wearing blcak too! granted, its in february...but i think black ofr a gown is elegant no matter what time of the year it is!

My sister got married in the afternoon of June 8 and we wore black. It was beautiful. She used colorful roses (pink, purple and yellow) to add color. It was so classy!

I say go with what you want. Who cares what people think.

I have to tell you that I think black bridesmaid dresses make everything look very ELEGANT. I love the way jenny5150 pic's look. Originally I was going to do black. Now I am doing red(I love red). WHo cares what people say? You know how many people tell me that red is for a winter wedding, not a summer wedding? I just ignore them now !!!

My girls wore black. I got married in Nov. But I think black is such a classic look you can do it whenever.

I am going to Burtons on Saturday with pictures of the flowers that I want. I will let you know what they say...

I am doing bright colors, not just one flower color

Black is a classic color - for ANY time of year. do what you want. I don't like light or bright colors so my BMs are wearing black...plus it's a universally flattering color, imo.

My bridesmaids will be wearing black for my May 04 wedding.

I haven't decided on the flower colors just yet.

I'm sure my in-laws will have something to say about it being black but hey..... I wanted it and that's all that counts.

I got married February 15, 2003 and I had a black and white wedding and it was gorgeous. The girls and I received so many compliments on how gorgeous and classy the bridal party looked. I am so glad I stayed with the black and white theme. I also went to a wedding in August that used the black and white theme as well and it was great as well. I say do whatever makes you happy. You won't be sorry.
